Carowhite absolutely connects with the needs of the market and has met those needs almost completely. People want to have a lighter complexion and they want it at a lower price. By meeting these two needs in a simple product Carowhite now dominates a market of 180 million people and generates additional sales from a long list of other associated products in its line. This makes awesome business sense and its makers must be applauded.
However, there is always room for improvement. Our suggestions:
1) Improve the formulation of the body lotion. Make it richer and better. A “new improved” products line should be created.
2) Give the new product some form of sun protection or filter. Highlight this quality on packaging to build "street credibility".
3) Market old and new products side by side. The new product will appeal to a more sophisticated customer base.
