Beauty Care Head to Head - Extreme Glow soap vs F&W AHA-2 soap

EXTREME GLOW EXFOLIATING PURIFYING SOAP
F&W SAVON AHA-2 EXFOLIATING AND BRIGHTENING SOAP
Intro
Our head to head comparison features two exfoliating skin lightening soaps. Both have similarities and differences but our goal will be to highlight the defining characteristic of each product to enable consumers make an informed decisions when buying.

F&W Savon AHA-2 Exfoliating and Brightening Soap
Fair & White has several best selling products in the market but this is one that usually goes under the radar. AHA is acronym for Alpha Hydroxy Acids which includes several chemical substances. Lactic acid is one of these and is an active exfoliating agent. Read about how it works here F&W AHA-2 also contains the ever present Apricot seed powder as the main exfoliate which works by micro-abrasion. In other words it does the same thing that scouring powder does to a blackened cooking pot. However, it is clearly not the best option because of its tendency to be harsh and trigger skin reaction and sensitivity in some consumers.

5/10

Extreme Glow Exfoliating Purifying Soap
This soap also has Apricot seed powder as a main exfoliate. It has an average if not disappointing make up of ingredients including Argan oil and Retinyl palmitate (this is not the same as or as effective as Retinol).  This ingredient list looks a bit lean for an exfoliating soap.

My rating?
5/10

The winner
F&W AHA-2 edges this by the smallest of margins which is not convincing to say the least. There are definitely much better skin exfoliating products in the market than either of the two soaps.
