John Paul DeJoria is the billionaire co-founder of Paul Mitchell line of hair care products. He is a Greek-Italian-American who was once a janitor and an insurance salesman. He started Paul Mitchell with a loan of $700 in 1980 which is now estimated to take in about $1billion in revenue yearly. He has several other business interest including Madagascar Oil and The Patron Spirits Company.
