What are the skincare benefits?
It is a robust moisturizer with glycerine, shea butter and stearic acid. Allantion provides skin protection against irritation and inflammation. It also lists ascorbic acid and citric acid as part of its repertoire of beneficial ingredients. The lightening agent listed is Hydroquinone. It should provide rapid and effective skin lightening.


Any concerns?
Yes, despite listing hydroquinone as an ingredient its disappointing to find that it  has no sunscreen filters. It is advisable to use it only at night or during the day with a broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF30 or above. Sodium Lauryl sulphate is also an ingredient with a history of controversy as it is sometimes listed as a skin irritant. It does not list any anti-acne agent to provide protection from microbial skin infection.

It would have been a much better product with the inclusion of sun screen.
