For all my years in cosmetics business I have observed few products with positive results as consistent as Maxi-peel Exfoliant Cream. It has been one of our best selling skin care products over the years and also the best performing. We rarely (if ever) get a complaint about this product. Maxi-peel is very effective in treating mild cases of sun burn, acne,spots, blemishes while enhancing skin colour and texture . Count on us to have this product on our shelves at all times...and yes, it comes in three variation according to the degree of potency (#1 #2 and #3)...Usually we recommend starting with #1 for 2-3 weeks or more and gradually going to higher levels in order to improve effectiveness or achieve accelerated results.
Some of the key ingredients include;
Niacinamide & Salicyclic acid combo-It has been my observation that where these two substance are the products tend to be highly effective. Niacinamide is effective in fighting acne and inflammatory skin condition while salicyclic acid is on "WHO Model List of Essential Medicines, the most important medications needed in a basic health system ^{" -} (Wikipedia). It fights skin inflammation and infection . Another value adding ingredient is Allantoin which is good for smoothing, rejuvenation, fighting irritants and generally protecting the skin.
Overall, this is a good product for clearing, refreshing and evening out skin tone. It's major draw back is the sunblock which it claims is SPF15. This is insufficient for our harsh weather so it's a good idea to use this product only at night unless you can combine it with a broad spectrum sunblock of of SPF30-50.
