Whats the difference between an antiperspirant and a deodorant? They are not the same.

A deodorant only masks body odour by using a perfume or fragrance.

An antiperspirant can actually reduce the production of sweat which is actually the cause of body odour, It can achieve this by blocking the sweat glands to reduce sweat production. The is achieved safely with aluminium salts. These substance are easily dissolved in water when we shower. Additional substances can also be mixed in the formula to destroy bacteria.
